Don’t Be Afraid to Be Afraid!

“If your dreams don’t scare you, they’re not big enough” - Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

Have you ever been so afraid of something that it handcuffed you completely?

I certainly have. At least temporarily.

Fear is one of the most basic instincts in our lives and serves as a protective mechanism.

Example - If you come across a bear on the trail - your basic instinct of fear and self preservation will obviously kick in.

The critical principle to learn is - Don’t be afraid to be afraid!

So many times in life we allow our fears to shut us down… To keep us as something good instead of something great… To limit us instead of being limitless.

The SlingShot Principles help to clarify that the fears we feel, although they are real, can guide us to bigger and better things.

In order to LAUNCH - plan on being pulled back - and plan on being AFRAID at TIMES! This is normal. This is natural. Everyone has Fears!

Learn from the fear and become stronger because of it!

This week…

Focus on naming and understanding your fears and then using them as a stepping stone to strength.

They may hold you back for a while but the SlingShot Family knows that no fear can hold them back for very long!
